New Community Centre

The Ucluelet Community Centre

The new Community Centre and Daycare facility creates the opportunity for new and innovative programming and events for all age groups.

The Hub is located as a separate wing in the facility that has its own entrance and can also be accessed by the main reception area. The purpose of the “Hub” is to provide family and children’s services in one location and to explore opportunities to integrate services. Organizations such as the Westcoast Community Resources Society have offices in the Hub.

The Main Hall will be used for various activities including sports, performances, theatre, weddings and conferences. Some of its many features are a sprung wood floor, sprung main stage, and a children’s stage for entertainment. This hall can house 340 people seated for a performance and 200 seated around tables. With the main hall we not only hope to be hosting a wide variety of events but showcasing and highlighting local talent and culture.
